I've read reviews of dozens of car covers, almost bought something designed to protect the seats from pets, but ended up going for this one in grey. I think it was a good choice. They may be cheaper than $30 a piece for materials, but if they work I don't mind. Installation is very easy - you just have to strap it over your car bucket seat. At the other end is a rubber band. I wrapped it around the seat shifter on the passenger seat, but I had nowhere to attach it on the driver's side since it's motorized. We have a 2014 Subaru Forester and they fit great. I was worried they wouldn't be very soft because some reviewers mentioned it. You are soft as a towel. They are thinner than towels so we hope they will last. Being 100% waterproof doesn't bother us because it basically just keeps sweat from getting onto the seat after playing tennis. We don't surf, we don't swim, we don't get in the car in any other way. I installed them, got in and out of the car a few times and they didn't move. They were soft on my legs in shorts. It's everything I wanted: soft, easy to put on, easy to remove for machine washing, and sweat-resistant on the seats. If anything goes wrong with them I'll come back and post an update but for now I'm glad I went with them.
