I hope the manufacturer gets this feedback as I have shown the problem and solution here and in the photos. The reason a person is in the market looking for a better grip for their Oculus controller is probably because they're playing a game whose hand is sweaty and the controller is slipping off, or at least need to get a better grip - (obviously I know , but I'm optimizing the problem here.) The product almost solves the problem but misses due to a fatal error. It seems like a good product when you first apply it. When a pair of grips fit perfectly (the Oculus Quest controllers, at least), they have knurled rubber tabs for good grip and a sticky feel. So I was glad when I got them and installed them! Now the problem. For installation, the grips have an open end that you slide up from the bottom of the controller, where you then connect the front and back of the grip with two small rubber tabs. So far, so good. Then, when you play a game where you grip the controller tightly or put stress on it in any way (see "Reason for Purchase" above), the tabs will disengage and the grip will push the controller out. It's like squeezing the underside of a banana that you've started to peel. This causes a limp, empty rubber grip cover to sag in your hand while the controller actually comes out of your hand. Defeat Saber! I think they will work well if you only use the controller for web browsing or launching apps with low activity. If you like low-activity apps, you probably aren't looking for handles. So there is a catch. I think they can be improved as follows: 1. Thicken and lengthen the strip connecting the front and back of the handle (it also stretches since it's very thin). Add stronger end caps for the strap to keep it from coming loose.3. Add a second connector for each strap to connect and further secure them.
