Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

In general, a good device for gaming on the road, or when there is a little time (10-30 minutes).
The OLED screen does a great job of upscaling PS one and PSP games.
I really liked the PS plus subscription, which I recommend to all console owners. In a year, not so much is obtained, every month two or three games are given for free. Additional discounts. Also, all saves from games for PS vita (PS3 and PS4) are duplicated in the cloud.
Speaking of discounts and offers. PSN offers weekly deals (with rare exceptions) from 25% to 75%. So you can buy games not for a full price (1699-1999).

Pros

1. A large number of games of various genres and "depth of gameplay" for vita itself at the time of writing this review (January 2022). A large number of psp and ps one games are also available. 2. OLED screen. 3. Excellent ergonomics. Relatively light. In the hands lies well, it is convenient to play. Japanese made 4. PSN in conjunction with PS plus.

Cons

1. Size. Sony is positioning the vita as a pocket console. OK. It will fit into the inner pocket of a "down jacket for an adult". This is not even an iphone 6 plus for you . 2. Software for backup. You can back up all your games and saves to one file and restore everything in bulk. This is not very convenient even if you have a large memory card. 3. Applications (not games) often lack the allocated amount of RAM. For example, you are playing a game and get stuck on a certain level. You can launch a browser or youtube app and watch the walkthrough. But this is not a viewing, but a pain. Pages reload randomly, videos start showing from the beginning.
