I bought 4 of these (3 as gifts) and only one person was able to get them working - and it's been a lot of hassles including the need to use a different connection cable. I've tried it on my desktop and laptop with the same results. The Coby troubleshooters put me through a few cycles for the one I left and when nothing worked they told me to return the unit as it was defective. Instead I gave it to a geek who tried a new cable and some other tricks and finally got it working. The idea is great and the look of the product is beautiful; they just don't work. The remaining 3 were returned.
