I've watched the Memory Keepers Evolution Advanced Motor drop in price. I wasn't sure I would ever need a motor because it would be most useful if I was doing a really large amount of embossing or letterpress work, which I don't do very often. Since the price was the lowest I've seen and I wasn't sure how long it would be available, this seemed like the right time to buy an engine. It attaches to the Evolution Advanced machine where the hand crank is located on the side of the machine. The motor has a plastic-coated button that you press that automatically drives the embossing or die-cutting platform through the machine. Works like clockwork. If desired, the motor can be removed and the hand crank reinstalled. I did this to make storage easier as the motor protrudes more than the crank.
