My husband has hand tremors and severe hearing loss so smartphones are not for him. Our last Jitterbug clamshell was a total failure, so we didn't want to try the new Lively. But a Great Call rep told us it was a "folding phone on steroids," and we were desperate for a phone for my husband to use. Well, Lively has been working great for almost a month. Then it didn't happen. Spent most of yesterday on a (different) phone with Great Call, reprogrammed Lively several times and then gave up. Literally given up. The phone doesn't work, the company has no offers. I have a suggestion for you, but I won't post it here. UPDATE: I decided to keep this one going and after a long chat a rep from GreatCall said they would be shipping a phone to replace the faulty Lively. It arrived the next day but it was a refurbished previous generation Jitterbug Flip. As I told her, I already have two of these phones in my desk drawer - they're the reason we left GreatCall in the first place. So back to GreatCall. This time, the announcer said she would send a replacement for Lively. We'll try again, but if that doesn't work I'm leaving GreatCall forever. Nice people. Phones Cr@p.
