This seat is fairly easy to install (the tools that came with the seat will work, but if you have better tools I recommend using these). I'm used to the tag on bikes that you tow an adult bike, but we decided to give it a try and the only complaint is that this seat mount doesn't fit all bikes. If you have something in the middle of the frame like brake lines, suspension, etc. it won't work. My wife's bike has a brake line and because the top frame flexes downwards the seat will not fit on her bike (FYI she has a hybrid bike). This seat is probably best suited to a bike that doesn't flex in the frame. This bike seat was used for a child aged 5 years old and is normal size at 5 years old. She fits but you could tell she would outgrow it quickly (I think the age limit was under 6). The baby was leaning forward most of the time, not to the point where it was uncomfortable, but it was noticeable. Also, I had to walk with bent legs throughout the ride as I couldn't achieve normal range of motion with a child in front (good thing most of the ride was downhill). I was pleasantly surprised that the seat frame barely moved while driving. The front of the seat just rests on the frame of the bike, nothing is holding it in place. The seat is attached to the center frame and that's it. But the seat didn't move significantly from what I noticed. The instructions are terrible. Installing the seat isn't too difficult and most people can figure it out. However, it came with a strap which I had no idea as there was no mention of a strap in the instructions. We weren't sure if the harness was used to attach the top seat to the frame or as a child seat belt. We ended up using it as a child seat belt.
