Bought as a gift for our 4 year old who loves photography. We used to give her an ordinary children's digital camera but I saw this one and for the price decided it was worth a try. The image quality is on par with other children's cameras. The interface is pretty standard too. Where it really shines is in the printer. It uses thermal paper, which is very cheap and lasts a roll for a long time. We don't have many printed photos in our house, and she's still on the first roll (there are 3 in the set). It appears to be standard receipt paper so replacements are easy to find and inexpensive. The print quality is as expected from a thermal printer. They don't enter a photo contest, but there are more than enough prints for one child to hang on the wall. My wife and I even kept a few for ourselves. Battery life seems pretty good as I haven't charged the camera out of the 70-80 photos it has printed out. I recently discovered that photos are stored on the SD card and can be opened and printed later at any time. In addition to automatic printing, you will receive when a photo is taken. We have used this feature several times to reprint copies for family members. Great selection of toys for a 4 year old.
