Being a medium to high handicapper - I took my wife to a birthday dinner when I turned 84 - I've tried many different golf balls. Most Tour style balls ie: Pro V1 or 1x felt heavy to me - like hitting a rock. Then there was the smaller group that just felt too soft off the tee. So I did what any mediocre golfer would do - a compromise. These golf balls go as far (for me at least) as any others I've tried, so it's not a problem. The really significant difference is in the color green. They have a nice soft feel but they don't feel soft, they roll off the stick well and spin well when they hit the ball. Some people will have problems with the sound outside the club. A harder ball makes a completely different sound than this or any softer ball, but I like the way it plays so I'm a big fan of it. Finally, I use the orange version of this ball. It is easy to see brown spots and other anomalies between the leaves, making the white ball difficult to see.
