Just the right frame for an odd sized painting

After getting a portrait painted of my beloved cat Monty who had passed away, I had a hard time finding a frame that fit the odd size of the painting (10.5"x10.5"). I went from store to store, even looked at Michael's.nothing. Then I found this beautiful frame at a very reasonable price. I centered the painting on top of the mat instead of behind it and it works perfectly. The quality is amazing, this is a very sturdy, well put together frame at a very reasonable price. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Pros

A nice natural-wood looking frame - looks like weathered driftwood. A good value for the money.

Cons

The frame may not offer enough protection for the picture
