As many customer reviews say there were no screws, parts or instructions in their packaging, I'll start by saying none of this applies to me. I ordered feet for a 65" TV and they came properly packaged with the correct inserts for all parts. The parts were packed in soft plastic bags at the factory. The relevant manufacturer's instructions (in pictogram form) are contained in a separate plastic bag. package, and all necessary screws (four) were included. I was a little worried about what other customers seemed to have received but mine was as fresh as you could ask for. As for the stand itself: it's not a stand in its own right, of course, but it is a pair of legs that sit on the outside edges of the TV's underside. Many reviews also complained that they should have been included on TV. I'm giving LG a pass here because the company is crystal clear that they designed the TV to hang on a wall, not a tabletop. Luckily they didn't skimp on the materials for these legs. One reviewer noticed that the touch tab broke off when trying to attach it; I really have no idea how this is possible. The feet are functional too, with a removable soft plastic insert on the back that allows cables to be routed down and through the feet in conjunction with the cable management channels on the back of the TV. Also included in the kit are plastic inserts for the back of the TV. which allow you to cover the wall mount attachment points and cable management channels to create a completely flat rear view if desired. The back of the set is metal, but it's forgivable that these covers are plastic and you won't be able to tell the difference once they're in place. I don't know how you couldn't figure out how to install the legs if you didn't have the brochure. Installation is very quick, with a metal tab on each leg that appears to fit into a square hole on the back edge of the TV, and two screws that then secure the leg. A screw hole is blocked by a plastic insert for cable management so this part will need to be temporarily removed even if you don't intend to route the cables this way, but this step should be obvious by the presence of a matching hole on the back of the TV . Putting them on takes literally no more than a minute on each leg. So, despite all these compliments, why four stars and not five? Of course, LG designed this TV to be wall-mountable, so feet are optional, and yes, those feet appear to be high-quality parts, so you still don't get mad if you want your TV on a table is standing. . But their designs are best described as "functional" rather than aesthetic. Check out the center stand on the C class kits cheaper than the G series. This design has its downsides if you want to place a soundbar there, for example, but this stand is visually appealing and makes a statement under the TV in your room. Those legs, though hard and strong, look a little shy, like skinny bird's feet beneath a lushly feathered chicken. LG could have put more effort into designing their $100 leg accessory for one of their flagship TVs, even if they'd prefer you didn't use it. Hence one star for that.
