Review on High-Quality Non-Stick Cookware Set by Goodful - Dishwasher Safe Pots and Pans with Diamond Reinforced Coating, PFOA-Free, 12-Piece, Charcoal Gray by Rosa Gomez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The coating looks hard-wearing, the undersides are slightly scratched. Multiple missed opportunities. The non-stick coating works great.

I like the kit immediately. There are many pots and pans and there is potential and functionality. I am happy with them and they have done their job perfectly the few times I have used them. I will definitely update if they start peeling or the coating starts sticking. But there are a few things in the set that need improvement. Bottoms of pots and pans are scratched. They seem to scratch easily. The conductive metal part is great, but the paint around it scratches when you look at it, so the bottom part doesn't look as pretty when you hang it up. I keep ours under the counter in cupboards. The wooden spoons that came with the set were poorly cut. I had wood chips that needed sanding. There's also a missed opportunity with lids. Many lids fit or almost fit other items in the set, but the smaller pot lid could be fitted to fit a small frying pan. Larger lids fit a steamer, pots and a large frying pan, so that was nice. I often use a lid instead of a splatter guard when frying because lids are so much easier. I didn't notice much heat transfer on the lids either. The rubber or silicone on the handles protects your hands well from the heat. I liked the set itself. My bacon tried to stick to the pan a bit, but I like it crispier and my stovetop isn't exactly flat, so it might just be me. The rest of the set worked great. I had no problems with frying eggs. I use butter for frying eggs and it doesn't help much with lighter pan-fried eggs. Both small and large masters have done a good job. The overall design of the bottom of the pots and pans seems to conduct heat better than some of my other sets. Because the metal is on the bottom, it pulls more heat out of my torch faster. I timed the water in a large pot while cooking fettuccine pasta and in the first 60 seconds my water went from 72F to 168F which is amazing on my glass stovetop. The steam basket is also very good. I appreciate that the pot lid fits both the pot and the top of the steamer, and the steamer makes a great colander too. I used a steamer basket after cooking the pasta to drain them. It's really easy because I can squeeze the handles to hold the two pieces together and it will definitely prevent spills. This is a really nice feature because I can drain them through the steamer while they're still in the pot, then flip the steamer over and pour the noodles in for extra draining. All in all a good set for what you get. The cover is kept inside, only annoying from below. I took a few photos to try and capture the wear and tear as well as the rest of the set. Scratches are particularly noticeable in the pan. This is the rate of value for all parts you will receive. Will definitely come back if I have any questions.
