Good: I was able to use the existing grooves on the sides of the bed for the bindings. Ram 2500. Bad: not the best quality and very little plastic. The extension doesn't snap to the bed so it's quite difficult to remove. You'll have to remove the pin and then remove the rubber stopper from the mount and if you lose it you'll have to look for another one. My other bed extender fell apart in case I wanted to tuck it away in bed prematurely. This is not. However, I didn't like the idea of drilling a tailgate for my latest bed extension, which held it in place with a latch in the bracket. This kept the back door from slamming and it worked fine. For some reason, many of them have switched to straps that don't stop the tailgate from bouncing when you hit a bump. Also, the material on the straps is cheap bungee and I don't think it will last very long.
