After what seemed like a couple of days spent within a barrel, the sound finally appeared to have broken out. The bass is strong but not overpowering, and it sounds great. The soundproofing is excellent beyond all praise! In conjunction with my iPod mini 6, I make use of it. Although the sound is of a very high quality, I do not hear a significant difference between the mp3 in 320 quality and the ALAC level. An outstanding offering for the price.
