It appears Ford has decided to simplify PRB service starting in 2015 by making the engine and front hinge a single serviceable unit. Don't worry, this motor from the previous series is still suitable for the front hinge. Remove the front hinge from the truck, after which you can proceed to removing the engine. If you are using a 13mm socket to remove the pivot pin, this socket will also fit two motor mounts; However, you MUST use a 1/2" socket on the third motor nut. I think the reason they removed the separate motor for 2015+ is because they probably had technicians in the shop who destroy the motor shaft bushings at the pivot themselves - they are easy to damage. All you have to do is use your mechanical know-how and common sense when replacing an engine. And the pinout of the connector and the key are the same, so don't worry. So far it has worked fine. If I ever get another truck with a PRB feature I will install front fenders to reduce the amount of road manure the front pivots are exposed to.
