I needed a longer plug than the one that came with the TV to be able to use the cable manager to attach the plug to the wall. The original fork was almost solid, preventing it from sitting flush with the wall. I have a 75 inch Hisense TV and this long plug works great with it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use, just plug and play. It fit securely in my TV and felt like it was made for it! This is the type of connector you can use with TVs, game consoles, DVD players, and other electronic devices. As always, just check the voltage. If you like classic gaming consoles you could probably get by with a few as I've found this form of connector to work with Sega (Genesis and gaming hardware) and PlayStation.
