As a female.While these neon-green & black socks aren't what I'd consider "attractive", I was WAY more interested if they'd live up to their claim AND would they feel comfortable. They also aren't super inviting to pick up -- the outer fabric isn't "warm & fuzzy", but I was delightfully surprised how soft they felt to my skin on their inside layer.I typically wear a women's size 8.5 Medium shoe. These smalls were the right size for my foot. The toe area is rather puffy (not snug), but I assumed this was the design so that my toes would have some breathing space. My concern is that it would bunch up and feel uncomfortable. I was WRONG.in my UGGS and hiking boots, there is no bunching up or fold-overs. Just super comfortable. They are very cushy (which I love)They are too thick for my everyday & cardio-step class athletic shoes.but typically, I'm not navigating puddles, so that won't be an issue for me. Hikes are where I need them for cushioning, support, and to keep dry.I've also been wearing them at home (winter) in my UGGS. I can't report that my feet always feel "warm & toasty", but I also have feet that sweat and these great socks' outer layer can't protect me from my own making. But, I love these for their extra cush, that they are supportive without being too tight.I'm a FAN and recommend these 100% !
