It's easy to set up and easy to use and the only negative I can say about it is the price. It looks a little cheaper but is otherwise identical to the tripod, which costs half. I was hoping that the extra cash would go towards build quality, but that doesn't seem to be the case (although it's well built). I haven't fiddled with the remote as I can start the camera's timer by turning it over, but it feels as cheap as you'd expect. While I wouldn't recommend it for twice the price of similar tripods, if you buy it on sale (maybe around $15 right now) it's a much better deal or if you really need the remote.
