We love fruit but we are often too lazy to peel and cut apples. I thought it would be a handy tool in the kitchen, especially for me. For health reasons, I find it difficult to eat apples with their skins on. But peeling off the skin with a knife like my mother taught me is so tedious. That makes it a lot easier. I'm not a big fan of this color as it doesn't quite match the color scheme of my apartment which is mostly blue and a few rainbows. But that's not so important. Red is my son's favorite color so it suits me. I've only used it once so far and it just sat there taking up space on my counter but I hope to use it more often in the near future. I have so many ideas and I know you can use them with all kinds of fruits. I hope I can get my son to eat more fruit (as well as myself). Overall I think this is a pretty good deal for the price and it gets the job done. Assembly is pretty easy. The cleaning isn't that bad. It's a decent product and a lot easier than any other tool I've tried in the past.
