Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Enhanced Precision Printing with Twotrees Sliding Guideway Bearing Printer by Jesus Jenkins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

2 out of 3 were great. A non-standard bearing size means it cannot be repaired in the future.

Quality control seems to be a bit different here. I bought two sets a year ago and have had no problems. They were packaged well and ran incredibly smooth once properly cleaned and lubricated. It's time to upgrade something to linear and I bought another set of shorter rail blocks and it feels really rough. I've sonicated it with a suitable 25% alcohol solution and lubricated with fresh synthetic oil and it just seems like there weren't enough ball bearings. There are big gaps, and until I remember or want to take my other two rails apart to check. I have a feeling the others weren't as choppy and definitely didn't stop intermittently only to shake him in the same spot a moment later. This assumes that they are not rails. Another mechanics of balls moving in a carriage. Maybe it would work for free and the cleaning helped some. But it's not like the first two. I ask for a replacement. However, some also retrofit the ceramic bullets to ensure they are the bullets themselves. Will be updated. *Update* The exchange was noticeably smoother. I tried replacing the bearings with 3/32" 2.381mm ceramic bearings anyway, and while they (just) fit, the bottom bracket was now too tight to allow movement. I measured both the replaced and the current bearings and found that the dual bearings are 2.36mm in diameter and the ceramic ones are 2.38mm, as promised, they are not interchangeable which is odd as I have read of people changing bearings in them. Isn't that great after all Custom bearing size It's not clear if you can fix it and it's expensive If I knew I would use a brand that uses standard size I asked again and they replied that this is 2mm "Bearings are. They just don't tighten. On my calipers they measure 2.36. Due to the differences, neither a 2.38mm bearing nor a 2mm bearing will fit. 2mm would most likely not even go into the Metal guides are kept without too to fail.
