I wash all the dishes by hand and need to wear gloves due to skin sensitivity. These gloves have been amazing so far - 3.5 weeks of use. They are thin enough to feel the stains on the dishes. The texture of the fingers ensures a good grip. The inside is very smooth, which makes it easy to put on and take off. The water gets pretty hot, but I don't feel it. The wrist length is just right so the sleeves don't get wet. As long as there are no musty smells, an inside wash wasn't necessary, but I air it on sticks at night. .My hands measure 3.25 inches at the palms and 3 inches at the average length. I ordered a large one. They fit very well. A little tight around the thumb when I fully extend my arm, but it made it a little easier to use. The glove's fingers are maybe 1/8 inch larger than my fingers, but I think it's better than a perfect fit because it doesn't stress the material. The best thing about these gloves is the durability. They are used for at least 3 washes a day and then for additional cleaning tasks. They are used with dish soap, vinegar, baking soda, and sometimes diluted bleach. While the inner fingers, where most pressure and movement occurs, have developed wide folds, the material remains flexible and shows no critical stresses or deep deformations. I accidentally scratched and poked them a few times but no holes or tears. Obviously I'm very impressed and grateful that I tried them. It really saved the skin on my hands and I'm still very glad I didn't have to replace the first pair.
