Great Performance + $360 Saving over Apple RAM = A MUST BUY!

I wanted to upgrade my RAM from 4GB on my late 2011 MBP (15' 2.4 i7) but didn't even want to pay the extra $200 when I bought my MBP and did it definitely. I don't want to " I don't want to pay $400 separately. So I searched the internet and saw Corsairs and saw some bad reviews about problems with Kernal. I read it and didn't get any bad reviews. Well I can say it's the RAM cards you want for your iMac/MBP/Mac Mini! I was very happy with it. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and Apple even has instructions on their website to replace the RAM based on your Mac. Use a #.00 screwdriver, that's it. The only thing they don't tell you. But I'm very happy with it. The performance I have on both Mac OSX Lion and Boot Camp Windows 7 worked great with this RAM. I can open it more apps at the same time and when I'm doing Photoshop I don't have to worry about closing other applications and Microsoft Office 11 for Mac consumes a lot of RAM and slows down my MBP significantly. So this small and inexpensive solution definitely made a difference. Now I can use 4GB of RAM and put it in my Mac Mini which only had 2GB.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It has almost everything
