I ordered a black pair with velcro a size 5-6.5 I would say it is the right size, my daughter wears a size 5 and they fit her very well and she has room to grow. The part of the boot that is at the back of the ankle is flexible and will adjust as the foot grows. The material is very breathable, lightweight and the non-slip elements on the bottom of the slippers really work. He has great grip. As a final note, Velcro slippers are strong in a good way. My daughter has a bad habit of removing Velcro shoes by unfastening the two sides. In these slippers, she isn't strong enough to separate the two sides, so she can't take them off. She is 1.5 years old.
