Depressed transition to an old headset

Nobody leaving bad reviews. But I bought these very excited, I wanted to change my old Astro a50 so I traded them in to buy these. Some big mistake in its current state. The sound is metallic and ridiculously quiet. Thanks to the sound of the TV, I navigate better in space. From these reviews it usually looks flawed like I have a brand new bad model. Contacted support, no response. Just very disappointed and extremely upset at this point. If you're playing a game that requires the ability to hear footsteps, it shouldn't require someone to shoot you to hear someone's there. You're already dead. To be honest, when testing, the "superamp" is muted at 50-75% volume. I can really only hear anything above the 75% threshold, it just seems broken. You can't get better sound out of a $15 Target pair of headphones. Will probably return them soon unless something changes or support contacts me. UPDATE: I have ordered a replacement model through Revain and am hoping the issue is isolated as it seems too quiet like listening to the game on a clock radio with headphones. I will test this out and hopefully update my review or end up switching to a new brand altogether. Update 2: Got a new pair. Was just as awful as the first pair. These headphones are meant to be a joke or something. The audio is terrible. It feels like everything is leveled with just the base. You have to walk around with superhuman hearing to basically make them usable. Anything below 75% audio in the mixer is basically muted. These headphones are absolute junk. I would really look elsewhere for good headphones with such a high price. You're buying a brand name with no support and a pair of clock radios that sit comfortably on your head. Update 3: Went with his Hessian gaming headphones and haven't had any issues since. I highly recommend the gaming headphones subreddit to get an idea as they have attached buying guide threads. I was mostly laughed at when I mentioned I bought them. Please don't waste your time.
