Rework required for 2006 Tundra Double Cab
It was never possible to get the actuator to fully open the locking mechanism. I worked with Pop & Lock Tech Service. They were very supportive and provided 3 additional kits which also never worked. A considerable amount of work for installation and removal. I believe the mechanism lacks the necessary levers to lock/unlock the 2006 Tundra's tailgates.
