For years I have used the more popular brand of magic eraser to clean up kids' messes. It seemed like a lot, and there was a guarantee they would work just as well. Although I'm very disappointed. They do a great job on small messes - nothing spectacular, just like a wet paper towel. When it came to "magic eraser" messes like kitchen mess, marker mess on the wall, smudge on the window (thanks my kids) they didn't deliver at all. They're thick, but the thickness doesn't make them last longer than more popular brands. Also, they broke very easily (not what I wanted) which resulted in me having to use pieces of eraser to try to clean up the mess instead of using a full eraser. The attached photo shows the difference between the eraser I used and the one I used for about 10 seconds to try and erase a washable marker line from the wall.
