I really wanted this dock to work with my 2017 MacBook Pro but ethernet never worked. Ethernet connected for a second, then disconnected for a second, forever. There are no drivers for this device, I've tried different ethernet cables (both work elsewhere), different ports on a MacBook (both work on different devices), different MacBooks entirely (none of which have problems with any of their ports). I also traded my first GTD300 for a second one, thinking the first one was defective. The second had exactly the same problem. The USB-A port on this unit worked flawlessly, as did _both_ HDMI and DisplayPort. This device successfully transmits 4k@60hz via HDMI and via DisplayPort. I was even able to successfully use the TrendNet USB-A Gigabit Ethernet port connected to the GTD300 to provide a stable Ethernet connection to my MacBook. Unfortunately I did what I could but I have to conclude that I either got two bad blocks in a row or the GTD300 just doesn't give ethernet.
