I took to replace a relatively old portable HDD from WD. This time I'm using it with a USB 3.0 portable case. So his main problem is frequent “parking”. It is worth pausing the movie, stepping back to pour tea and almost instantly it is already in a kind of “sleep” mode, and as soon as you continue watching, the movie ends abruptly (after a minute or so) and you have to start it again, and sometimes even connect the disk to a new one. PC. Another problem that has been identified is spontaneous shutdown. As soon as you start transferring a heavy file to it, the HDD can disconnect from the front case USB 3.0, after which it immediately reconnects, but the process is interrupted and you have to start all over again. The HDD does not turn off exclusively when connected to the USB located on the motherboard. Maybe it's a power issue, but I've never had this problem with another portable HDD. Based on the foregoing, it seems that this HDD is suitable only for storing files that do not need frequent access. For the archive it will be the most. But it is often quite uncomfortable to use.
