This one was fine and works as it should. The first FC1004 I got last year never worked properly and was very difficult to unlock and remove, but it was from another supplier and was probably defective to begin with. I tried the Motorad brand but eventually their seal seemed to come off and I got 'small vacuum leak' error codes in OBDII. Motorcraft caps are generally made to factory specs and are slightly more powerful than Stant or others. It is hermetically sealed and has no error codes. What else can you say about the gas cap?
