Bought one of these for my daughter to love her Irish tap lessons. It fits her perfectly and is really great quality for the price. The fabric is light enough to wear in summer. It's also long enough to go down to her hips and I'm not worried about showing her stomach. My daughter is 7 years old, 4'2" and about 42lbs - I bought her a teen in between and it's the perfect size.
