Yes the bottles are small and the polish is translucent. The trick is to apply very thin layers and lots of them. It's a bit thick so you have to be careful to apply it in a thin layer, but it's worth it. I applied 5 coats and then finished off with a glossy gel top coat. I got a lot of compliments but I only did it for a few days. Even with 5 coats I feel like I can get at least 2 full coats out of a bottle maybe even 3. For the price of this polish I'm glad I got that many! I paid more than that for a polish and it went bad before I even used half. For reference, this is color 007 with a Modelone gel top coat over a Beetles brand clear poly gel.
