I bought this to replace my recently defunct Pebble 2s that died due to silicone failure and cracked buttons that were leaking water. I really loved both of them and couldn't seem to find a new watch to replace them with. I was interested in buying the collider when I first saw it, but the reviews were pretty bad. Apparently there were only 13 apps that notifications worked for and I didn't use most of them so I wanted to give them up. Then I saw on the Fossil Hybrid subreddit that they had finally released an update to make all notifications work, so I decided to To take a risk and ordered the stainless steel version. Owned the watch for four days and am really enjoying the watch. Advantages: - Comfort. The Pebble 2 HR's sensor was large enough to make the watch uncomfortable when it didn't fit properly, digging into my wrist and forcing me to adjust it throughout the day. The collider does not have this problem. It's much more comfortable, albeit a bit heavier (mainly due to the stainless steel bracelet). - battery. The Pebble 2 HR lasted about 8 days so I usually charge it once a week. I've been using the collider for four days and its level is 81%. Of course, I definitely get a lot fewer notifications than most people, so my battery life will be better than average. The sleep tracking really works. I sleep in the afternoons and move around a lot while I sleep, so the Pebble 2 only tracks half of my sleep. The collider seems more accurate, showing almost exactly when I fell asleep and when I woke up. It doesn't fire every time I wake up to change position, but it shows maybe half the time, which is impressive since it only takes me a few seconds to fall asleep again. Draft. The clock is beautiful. Everyone I showed it to agreed that it was a really cool looking watch. Seriously, you have to see this watch in person. Cons: - Temperature is always wrong, usually by 5-12 degrees compared to every other weather app I review. It's a bit annoying, but I can just look at my phone when I need to check the weather. Vibrations are hardly perceptible. For text messages and emails, the vibration is short and weak, making it easy to miss the notification. That's the only thing I don't like about the watch. When I walk, I don't feel the vibration at all. If it weren't for the vibration issues, the watch would be perfect for me. I still really like the watch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a smartwatch so they don't have to worry about daily charging. Update: After more than a year of daily use, I still really like this watch. I increased my score from 4 to 5 because last year's updates fixed any issues I was having with the watch. The temperature is accurate and now you can increase the vibration settings. The battery life has also improved a bit, now I charge it once every 3-4 weeks. But that's probably because I'm not a big text editor, so I don't get as many notifications a day as the average person. I still love this watch very much.
