These great metal rods. They don't stick or bind when at the maximum angle, they feel great under your thumb, and they're simple and easy to install once you know how to take the controller apart. If not, then I highly recommend watching the process on YouTube first. The good thing is that they come with tools, although the tools are very small and cheap. The screwdriver is small and can be difficult to grasp for those with a weak hand. The controller unlocking tool is mostly disposable as it is a soft plastic that will quickly twist and deform the tip after a single use. However, this will keep the edges of your controller from scarring, and if you're careful what you're doing and only have to open it once, you shouldn't have any problems. Overall worth buying another set for my fiancé's controller because now she wants to use mine lol.
