Review on πŸš— Motive Products 0100 European Power Brake Bleeder Kit - Efficient Brake System Maintenance for European Vehicles by Jeff Kersey

Functional but one major flaw

No rotation between cap, tube and vial. In other words, when you unscrew/unscrew the cap of a car's brake fluid reservoir, the hose itself gets twisted. Breaking up the kinks is a chore as the bottle is quite large and heavy when filled with brake fluid. They had to have quick disconnects like the compressor air hose. This would be the ideal solution, but I suspect it will increase the cost of adding this feature. I doubt it will cost much though as I have checked air hose fittings at Harbor Freight and they usually cost a few bucks each. I could modify this vent with an air hose connector to fix this problem. Update: Fixed the bent hose issue by fitting a Harbor Freight 1/4" quick connect adapter. The 1/4 inch split kit includes 5 adapters for different uses. It only costs $3 and basically unscrews and voila. My problem is solved. Too bad the breather cap is already threaded and only needs a disconnect adapter which the breather doesn't have which caused a lot of frustration to use due to the kinked hose. I should also mention that for those who don't have an air release valve, it's advisable to loosen the cap a bit to let the air out before disconnecting from the quick connect. Otherwise if you have liquid in the tank. A sudden release of air pressure will cause liquid to slosh out of the tank and make a real mess. Update: I've uploaded some photos showing the mod with quick release adapters. The quick couplings are made of brass and form an airtight connection. They can be picked up at Harbor Freight for a few dollars. They are 1/4 inch and you can get a kit that includes multiple plugs and sockets. Again, remember to loosen the cap to release the pressure before unplugging the quick connector or you'll look like you're opening a beer. Might mess up the brake fluid.
