I couldn't find the loose end and tried to pull the wire out from the outside and almost ruined the whole reel! it's hard to see, but the loose end hidden in the middle would be hopelessly tangled if I tried to pull it out from the outside. I think it should be somewhere on the box or on a label or something that shows you how to unwrap it, but no. I use a heavier vine twine for my gardening business, it's very light and more like a flower product so may not have the strength to hold up heavier growing vines, however it's a lot cheaper and has a lot more material which looks lovely too!
