Review on Aqua Plumb 01040 Plumbers Putty by Sirious Cavalli

I bought this to fix a leaking sink. Doesn't this putty stick to anything? I've used it on clean/dry surfaces, wet, dirty surfaces and everything in between. Basically I just got lucky, or I used bolt or shell pressure to get this to work in the first place. Complete nonsense. Although playdo would be fun. It doesn't seem to dry out. and at least in itself binds and stretches.
