Exactly what I was hoping for.

I love it. I was looking through a million different ironing wool mats and painfully debating which one to buy, decided because of the free silicone ironing mat that came with the kit. I used them almost every day, sometimes 7-8 hours at a time (for ironing seams and fabrics while sewing). Thick enough and strong enough that I never worry about damaging the table underneath; generally no issues with marks on iron or fabric as I have not read in reviews of other similar rugs; I am very happy that I have a silicone can for my mini iron. All in all exactly what I was looking for. Very important.
