I've been using this for years and can't find a better protein free deep conditioner. (Like many people with bleached highlights, I find hair products that contain proteins that make my hair brittle.) Wearing a mylar cap or heat makes this product work best. I think there is a good time - if I leave the product on for more than an hour, my hair doesn't look as good as it would if I left it on for 30-60 minutes. Finally, the new pump packaging is a huge improvement, but I still miss the jars that made it easy to get all those wonderful things out of the container. Bottles can complicate things.
