These are the first reusable pads I tried before switching to disposables. The change has advantages and disadvantages. I believe you will save money as you can get about 200 disposable pads for the same price as this set. So if you wear two pads a day, the disposable pads last 100 days, so if you use them longer than 100 days. days, you got your money back! I don't think they work as well as disposables because they aren't as absorbent, but as long as you end your breastfeeding days without much leakage you should be fine. I really like that the disposable pads have a sticky backing so they don't go anywhere as I needed to get better at day/night. Overall I'm very happy I got them and I'll be using them on my next kids too! Do yourself a favor though and just order two sets because you shouldn't be forced to do the laundry just because you ran out of pads, you have other things to take care of at this time in your life. Good luck mom!
