I love spending money on things my daughters use a lot like jackets and shoes. Instead of buying something expensive this spring, I went for this coat and ended up loving it! I can always buy a second one for less than I would pay for a Hatley or Boden. My 1.5 year old is now asking for a coat even when playing indoors. It feels more like a windbreaker material than a plastic feel. While I wouldn't use it in heavy rain, it's perfect for a spring/summer coat when you might want to get caught in the rain or jump in puddles. I chose the size 2T for her height and I would say the size Small fits like a real 2T for 1-2 years.
