This is the second wrist brace for Dr. Arthritis, which was the first thing I bought, wore out after six months of almost daily use. I am just as happy with this product as I was with my first order. I'm an artist putting my hands through a ring. While I don't wear braces when I paint, they certainly help reduce wear and tear from everyday tasks so I can still paint after a full day of repetitive motions in my daily work. The braces are easy to use and easy to adjust with a one-size-fits-all velcro strap. My hands are small and I can still achieve a comfortable fit. The material is comfortable but needs to be washed weekly (at least) as sweat and dead skin build up on it with natural use. Simply hand wash the brace in the sink or shower with soap and warm water, then allow to air dry. I was with both my first corset and Dr. Arthritis for which I recently ordered a new pair as my first pair was also worn out. My hands may need special care at this stage of life, but Dr. Arthritis helps them keep working, for which I am very grateful.
