Review on CamelBak Water Bottle Tritan Renew Outdoor Recreation by Darryel Tokarczyk

Works as intended. suitable for sports water bottles

I've had it during the day and it doesn't leak. The straw didn't fall out. The bite still looks like new. I've read a few reviews and I have to say that most of these complaints are due to people not being careful. If you give this to your child, tell them NOT to chew or bite. down on Bite Straw so hard. This is not a chew toy. It takes a bit of clenching of the teeth to open the gap and suck. No need to push or pull the straw. There is so much pressure and abuse that anything can endure. When exiting, it works as intended. The straw consists of two parts. The part you bite off and the straw you put inside. Insert a piece into the lid and wiggle it into several notches where it fits to keep it stable. Make sure it is flush with the lid by pressing on the sections inside. Then push the straw in as far as possible. That's all. Straw and bite are not screwed. They are attached to the lid and held onto themselves with pressure. The only part that bolts is the lid. Do not wash in the dishwasher. It's very easy to clean. Take a bottle brush and a straw brush to clean them. The bite will likely give you some cleaning problems. ------------- The bottle itself is light and tough with very little flexibility. There are several fun colors and designs to choose from. The bite works flawlessly, it just takes a little pressure to open the gap. The straw is very thick and hard with little flexibility. The lid is also stiff and feels slightly rubbery. I didn't close the straw as suggested since I don't take it out of the house, but I have a feeling this might be the first point of failure for a bite alongside a bite. When the straw is folded, the bite is still open, which can be annoying for people who want to put their mouth on something clean. Otherwise it works.
