Review on 🔧 Bostitch BTFP72326 4" Thread Regulator by Alex Jones

I'm rarely so happy with a product that I review it before Revain asks me to. but this is an exception. Last year I bought a #682619 center air control (HF) valve for my DeVilbiss pistol. I paint cars sometimes and I'm purely an amateur. This little regulator worked well, and when I bought a touch up gun last fall (ATD Tools 6903 HVLP Mini Touch Up Gun) I figured I'd use the same HF regulator on the paint gun. So I bought one of the tweeters last week. The gun needs an inlet of 29psi to get 10psi out. Just like my big gun. I could NOT set the HF device. It jumps from 0 to 90 psi with no hope of getting it right. So I sent it back for an exchange. I tried again. This time I was able to get to 29psi but couldn't hold it. It was so sensitive that the slightest touch sent air pressure all over the board. I was very disappointed. So I looked online and found this Bostitch BTFP72326 regulator. It had good reviews and was only $3 more, even with Prime shipping. I put it on last night. Wow! It feels solid, fits well, and is easy to read. Perfect. I couldn't be happier. I set it at 29psi easily, but could dial in 5, 20, 30, or 50 just as easily. Very nice to set up. So I'm taking my HF version back for a refund. I don't know why the one I bought last year worked well and the last two didn't, but I'm not worried about that. I will buy this Bostitch whenever I need it in the future.
