This set was my first time having fun making sushi. The variety of tools provided allows for different approaches to sushi/sashimi/nigiri preparation (sorry I didn't check your spelling). A word of advice: while this may be the 'right' way to prepare sushi rice, the process outlined in the instructions is quite complicated and involves many steps that take a lot of time. I've found that simply using jasmine rice with a little more water than usual (maybe 10% more) is a great alternative for a slob like me. I'd probably be kicked out of Japan for saying that, but then again, local restaurants add mayonnaise sauce to their sushi.
