I washed this item (according to instructions) before use. Very absorbent, soft, does not shrink (even in hot water). It has a beautiful kimonio style cut. I like the waffle material over the typical terrycloth styles because it's less likely to snag or fray. Good price. I originally ordered this item in the color shown in the picture but they sent navy blue. I returned for full credit and reordered in the original color ordered (light blue) and it arrived quickly. Very satisfied with the product.
