Review on 🚲 Black Berg Buzzy Rubicon Pedal by Paul Abs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Looks very neat but expensive and difficult compared to other transportation options.

The product looks very neat, although the product video convinced me. We all want our grandchildren to have fun. In any case, following a video preview on You Tube, assembly was relatively easy. The assembly instructions were easy. All the parts were there, including all the necessary tools. The problem I see is that what is essentially a toy has a lot of moving parts. Also, according to the owner's manual, the car must be inspected and serviced regularly. Almost sounds like a car. Check chain tension? Sounds like a lot. Perhaps the modern equivalent of a simple Ferris wheel would cost less, be just as fun, and require no inspection or maintenance. I just bought it so no experience on durability. A note on the manufacturer's recall: I was concerned that the one large spot that holds the seat to the frame is a few millimeters higher than the rest of the seat. The answer would be to shape the plastic seat to allow the screws to sit deeper. They never responded to my offer. My two year old granddaughter had no complaints about the seat. Otherwise we could seal it with some kind of foam rubber. However, this is another potential annoyance for the price. Please note that this car was designed in Holland but made in China.
