I use this card as a DAILY DRIVER on my Sony A7 Mark II. Taking pictures was smooth and my RAW files are 40MB to 60MB per file. Since my camera is best for 1080i 50p video recording I don't think I need U2 or U3, UHS-1 (Ultra High Speed) works well for me and my needs with this camera. My workstation is a personal computer with an i5 Kaby Lake processor and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM. I would transfer 60GB of RAW images from my Sony A7II alone and it would take about 20 minutes to shoot from 50MB to 70MB per second. Pros: The U1 writes fairly quickly and it all depends on what workstation you're using for your PC's read/write speeds. /Mac - Fast transfer to my workstations. Cons: - I always take precautions, I ALWAYS FORMAT the first time I put it in the camera to make sure I'm clear. Some cards may be defective or poorly made. Sometimes the latch of the lock gets stuck, but that's a production issue. I wouldn't give a bad review there you get a lemon, mass production will always have this problem. - NOT RECOMMENDED FOR 4K To summarize, based on my experience, I don't take my card out and put it in different cameras because it would damage the card. I keep a card for a camera and every time I insert a new card I format it so that the camera bases its file system on it from the start. Capturing photos for video recording and transferring RAWS to my workstations has always been a breeze. I've been using this card for over 6 months now and I really like this card.
