If you're fitting this into your F150, don't worry. Dash removal is not required.

I wish replacing the heater core was that easy. Pulled out a small panel held by (3) 8mm screws, removed the screws holding the old fan and it fell right out. Putting a new one in is quite problematic, but just use the swivel head to screw in the rear screw and you'll be fine.
