(Shown is size 4-6x for my 6 and 7 year olds. For reference, both are 22" bust and waist and usually wear 6x.) These tank tops are great, especially for the price! Due to the review suggestion i went up size first bought 7-16 for my 6 and 7 year old girls who usually wear size 6x they were WAY big!however love them so much i decided to keep them, until they grow up. I ended up buying a size smaller and they fit perfectly - with plenty of room to grow! My girls both love these tank tops and both told me how soft they were once they were put on! I can't speak for durability can't tell as they haven't been washed yet but looks like they'll last a long time!I would suggest size "4-6x" for sizes 5-8 and size "7-16" for take sizes 9-12.
