The case has been dropped, splashed, thrown and stepped on and my phone hasn't been damaged yet. The built-in screen protector is made of plastic and has a few scratches, but this does not affect the functionality of the touchscreen or its appearance. This is not a waterproof case. Sometimes water gets under the protective film, but it is easy to disassemble and dry. The case does not cover the camera, the speaker or the button on the bottom. The side buttons are fully enclosed and responsive. The charging port and headphone covers are secure and stay in place even after months of use. I would highly recommend this phone case especially if you are on a budget.
